Auditor General of Rwanda participates in a workshop organized by PAC

Auditor General of Rwanda, Kamuhire Alexis, on March 3rd, 2026 participated in a two-day workshop of members of Public Accounts Committee (PAC) of Parliament of Rwanda with its key stakeholders.

The workshop was officially opened by The Deputy Speaker in Charge of Parliamentary Affairs, Uwineza Beline, at Ubumwe Grande Hotel in Kigali.

The workshop aimed at sharing experiences between members of PAC and key stakeholders, as part of continuous capacity building and joining efforts towards strengthening transparency and accountability for improved management and utilization of public resources.

Our office presented on these two topics: The role of preventive audit and how to perform it effectively in strengthening the accountability and the implementation of audit recommendations and parliamentary resolutions in enhancing accountability. In attendance: MINECOFIN, NPPA, RPPA, RIB, and MINIJUST.
